how does the author get the reader into the book...chapter one the giver... do not copy and will give the brainliest

Respuesta :

They get the reader into the book by having intriguing sentences in the prologue and just in general by using the right words when needed
First I would say something like this

That night was when it happened....it was the scariest thing that was here to come. That was the day I broke my leg..It has never happened before so it was so scary. And you want to know how it happened. Well it was 12:00 at night and my friends and I we're walking in the Forest and we kept stopping because we heard something like if metal were to be sliding on the group. And every time we looked back the noise stopped and of course we thought one of our friends were pranking us...but we were wrong...

what u want to do is start something off by saying like "I didn't want it to happen" because it makes the reader want to read more of the book because it sucks you in and makes you want to say something like this "how did it happened" and "why"
