So I will try to answer this problem the best I can.

I'm having trouble, though.

I know that 6 times 6 is equal to 36.

And that's the closet I can get to 37 without going over.

So, I'm gonna go with the answer of 6.
The fewest number of lab groups you can make is 6 groups. 5 are with 7 students and the last one is with 2 students. You can easily divide 37/7 and find the answer. The model could be is making six circles and put 7 squares in 5 and 2 squares in 1.
