A student claims that the equation y=7 id not a linear equation because it does not have the form y=mx+b.
Do you agree or disagree? Why?

I disagree, the equation is in y=mx+b form.  The slope, or m, is 0, so the equation is y=0x+7.  That simplifies to y=7.
