They have no concept of ownership, relying on their environment strictly for all their living needs such as food, clothing, etc. They spoke many tongues and had their own political systems as well as boundaries. Their religions taught them respect for nature, and they can be highly spiritual and righteous.
Lived on the plains and open prairie. Usually didnt settle permanently, that's why they lived in tepees (for mobility). They needed this mobility to follow buffalo herds, which were their source of food, clothing, shelter, tools, etc. They did not have a single ruler, but rather ruled by council. They were forced onto reservations in the 1800s, where most still live today
