the key is to walk away for a few minutes and just take a breath or you can even pause and count to ten while taking deep breaths
I have the same problem too. I understand how you feel, these are some things that I do.

Think of it like the person is going through bad things.
Walk away.
Take deep breaths.
If you do break out, apologies.
Distract yourself, do something else or think of things you love.
